This week I was inspired by this artist and decided to try my hand at this year’s #linktober, the goal is to make a zelda related art piece a day through the month of october, I decided to make paintings in my DSi because that’s what I have and I thought it could be fun to do something artistic even when I’m not the artistic type.

This was one of the things that encouraged me to try my hand at drawing. As I spend most of my days in front of my computer writing code, having a creative outlet (besides this blog) seemed like a good idea, also the single-mindedness that our social media feeds help to develop is not something I enjoy.

[documentary] The social dilemma

A documentary about the impact social media has had in both our sociaty and ourselves humans. It is a must see if you already know of the problem social media introduces to our society and an even more must see if you don’t.

In the documentary some of the people involved in shaping social media to what it is today are interviewed, share their opinions and concerns about what has become of it and gives us a deeper look into how a series of well-meaning decisions can compound into a social disaster.

Most of the takeaways from the documetnary I have already shared here, but having all those in a single media piece is perfect for sharing with other people without overwhelming them.
